Job Description:
----------------
Develop code and software tools for the delivery and maintenance of engineering
mechanics codes, as well as other codes that are used in conjunction with them,
on a variety of hardware platforms used by engineering software developers and
customers.  Duties include cross-platform Linux and UNIX code development,
software porting and distribution, debugging, and testing.  Significant
interactions will occur with engineering software developers and customers,
tools software development teams, and management.

Required Criteria:

At least a B.S. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Specific required skills include: Advanced knowledge of Linux and UNIX platforms and
development environments.  Advanced shell and Python programming experience.
Familiarity with the detailed usage of GNU compilers and tools.  Good communication
skills and experience working in a team environment.  Active security clearance or
and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Criteria:
-----------------
Advanced Knowledge of C++, C, MPI, Linux, UNIX, shell, and Python.  Experience with
parallel high performance computing platforms.
