[NMLUG] #nmlug and toshiba laptop

Is your Winmodem one of those "Mwave" modems (the ones used in IBM
Thinkpads)? If so I believe they're supported under Linux. The
information is probably available somewhere on

http://www.tldp.org/

Though I couldn't find it right away. There is a general Winmodems
howto which may have the information you're looking for.

Engineers believe their equations are a reasonable approximation of
reality, whereas physicists think reality to be a reasonable
approximation of their equations. Mathematicians, however, hold no
relation between the two.
