[NMLUG] #nmlug and toshiba laptop
Is your Winmodem one of those "Mwave" modems (the ones used in IBM
Thinkpads)? If so I believe they're supported under Linux. The
information is probably available somewhere on
http://www.tldp.org/
Though I couldn't find it right away. There is a general Winmodems
howto which may have the information you're looking for.
