[NMLUG] IR camera streaming?!??

Finally, somebody has a low-cost (self-illuminated) small
IR camera! If/when I ever breed birds again, I want to
set up this as a "Chick Cam". (insert double-entendre ad here)

http://www.windycityparrot.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=68411031004&Category_Code=wild

The IR illuminators on this camera should not bother
brooding birds or chicks in a dark nest-box.

Next question {I guess Jack Moffitt isn't reading this any more ;-( }...
What would I need to set up a streaming video feed for this camera?
It appears to have a standard NTSC output. I guess I'd need some
sort of video capture card, and perhaps some sort of Xiph
video streaming package.

I had been talking about setting up a "chick cam" for years!

I have bred Cockatiels, and attempted to breed Goffin's Cockatoos
in my living room, which also happens to be where my DSL static-IP
server is.

P.S. How about a double entendre contest?

  * "See young naked chicks!"
(only good for 2-3 weeks, until feathers come in)
  * "Free live streaming video from chick's bedroom!"
  * "Watch everything these chicks do, 24/7!
They NEVER escape the view of our camera!"
